I don’t find anything wrong with the concept. It’s an intangible, strictly personal currency that can be used and invested in various ways – activating the teleport grid being just one. What I wish though, that there was no cap on it. Having it cap at 1000 is frustrating; this design is literally a big fuck-you to many players, as they find that they’ve just pretty much lost out on most of their mission reward due to the cap.
If there was a way to “bottle” or “crystallize” Azoth into a form of an inventory item, it would improve things massively – from a nightmarishly horrible design into just a poor but endurable one.
